Quick and Easy Treat Holders

Standard

Halloween treats.

Can you tell these darling little treat holders are in the shape of the cream cheese containers from years ago?  They are super easy to make.

The base is a piece of Designer Series Paper that is 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches (a nice little rectangle, the size of the front of a standard card).  On the inside of the piece of paper put some Sticky Strip (red line tape) along both edges of the 5 1/2 inch sides.  On the front side of the paper put some Sticky Strip along the edge of only one 4 1/4 inch side.  On the 4 1/4 side, peel off the red strip and adhere that side to the opposite side, making a tube (at the point, both ends are still open).  On the open bottom end, take the red strip off (it is on the inside of the tube) and flatten the bottom sticking the tube together (like you see in the striped BOOOO example above).  Put your treats, a couple of pieces of chocolate possibly, into the top and then peel off the red strip and close the top in the opposite direction.  You can see it more clearly in the striped BOOOO example above.

I hope my explanation is clear enough.  These are so easy to make but difficult to explain.  Once you get the little holders done then you can decorate them with stickers, labels, cut-outs, ribbon…all sorts of fun stuff.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
