These two sympathy cards use the flower image from the Love & Sympathy stamp set. The sentiment is from a retired set (I’ll make another few cards with a current sympathy sentiment). The card stock is Melon Mambo and, on the second photo, the larger mat is Rich Razzleberry. The flower is colored with the Old Olive and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Markers.
More of the cards I’ve been working on over the 4th of July weekend. This time it’s Thank You cards. These two are also very quick and easy. This beautiful paper is bright and cheery. On the top card I tied a piece of Daffodil Delight 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon (#125583) around the card. On the bottom card, I used a piece of the Crushed Curry 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon (#130019) made into a loop at the top of the greeting. The greetings are stamped in Memento Black ink (#132708).
Don’t forget the designer series paper special going on during the month of July:

I’ve been busy this weekend making a bunch of “Happy Birthday” cards to deliver to the Ronald McDonald House (West) in Portland, Oregon. About a week ago, the volunteer coordinator sent me an email asking if I would like to make some cards and bring them up. She said they needed birthday, sympathy, and thank you cards the most. It seems the number of guests in the House increases in the summer months. [You may wonder how she knew to contact me. Back in February I took some cards up to the House to see if they would be interested in them. They loved the cards and I gave them my name and email.]
These cards use the Mixed Bunch and the Four You stamp sets. They are very simple to make and you can use any colors that make you happy! I’ve used Coastal Cabana, Tempting Turquoise, and Rich Razzleberry.
Oh, the cards are not crooked; the photographer is out of balance.
